Owner Blaauwberg

Corlie loves to serve those around her and believes that is her God-given purpose in life.

She is a B Comm Money & Banking degreed teacher, international flight attendant, part-time agent to proudly South African brands, an au pair to a family with five children, all under the age of 10, and now the proud owner of Girl-School Blaauwberg and Overstrand.

The moment she heard about Girl-School she knew she had to grab hold of this opportunity to create a fun learning environment for girls in Blaauwberg and Overstrand. She is excited to take hands with every parent, to help their girls learn more about themselves and give them confidence for the future.

She describes herself as positive, adventurous, a global traveler, caring and full of life, skilled in multi-cultural education, and firmly believes that we are all just walking each other home. She is passionate about kindness. Life has taught her not to take her health or the people she loves for granted, therefore having “carpe diem” as one of her mottos.

Her friends and family describe her as kind, patient, friendly, energetic, trustworthy, self-motivated, dedicated, and well experienced in life on a personal and professional level.

She loves walking, exploring, smartphone photography, and doing community work.
